In researching the reason that individuals, trusts and other entities choose to deposit their money in offshore accounts, such as in the Cayman Islands and in Swiss accounts, the overriding element seems to be secrecy.  So much secrecy in fact, that the CIA had to make stronger attempts to monitor these funds, their sources and its flow, because it was suspected that Al Qaeda used offshore accounts,  the same ones used by Mitt Romney as disclosed in his income tax reports, to channel money to its operatives.

The Iowa vote is in and it’s Romney by eight votes, and even though the Republican Party Chairman of that State said that the vote could not be certified for up to two weeks, he still congratulated Mitt Romney.  You just get the feeling that before the Chairman went on television to report the results, he was advised to “seal the deal” for Romney as much as possible.  Santorum is the story of the day, his meteoric rise after Gingrich got “citizened”, shot him up to practically tie for first place so fast, that Romney’s PAC could not get their attack ads up in time to attempt to sink him.  R
