'MONEY' HATING ON OBAMA

There are massive amounts of money being collected by groups opposed to Obama, most of which is coming from people that make their money directly or indirectly from oil and from financial firms. As far as the financial firms’ complaints, they include regulations imposed on them by this Administration, but that came about because you, the taxpayer, lent money to those firms to bail them out and you demanded that in return for that loan certain regulations be imposed to prevent the meltdown from ever happening again. Further, they absolutely hate that Obama has created a “Consumer Bill of Rights”, which puts forth limitations on the nickel and diming to death that credit card companies and their compadres have been used to getting away with forever. On top of that, Obama appointed, only at night when the Congress was in recess because the Republicans wouldn’t allow a vote on it, a Czar to actually implement the new rules. A la chingada, now your messing with their dinero, no Presidente before had the cojones to do this.

The oil dudes are not happy that he didn’t approve the new pipeline from Canada, the Keystone Project, although they should be happy that there is more drilling going on now than perhaps ever before, albeit probably with a few new regulations to prevent another BP-style spill, which almost erased the Gulf’s tourist and fishing industries. The overriding factor though, that has “money” mad at Obama, is that he is insistent on letting the Bush tax-cuts, which helped lead to the Nation’s second depression, expire, in order to raise about a trillion dollars to pay down the debt. “Money” is being asked to pitch in during the Nation’s rebound to keep it going and they rebel against that, instead arguing that we should become less Socialist by taking abuela off of Medicare, students off of Student Loans, newly insured people off of “Obamacare” and women off of free preventative medical care and contraception.
