CHICANO CHANNEL MAGAZINE PRESENTS: THE ATTEMPTED LYNCHING OF BARACK OBAMA

Many people tell me that Obama cannot win because people are hating him right now, not just his policies, but the man. I tried to put my finger on the reason for such hate. The biggest complaint I heard was that he was hurting the economy because he put too many regulations on businesses, most of them businesses that got loans from you the taxpayer during the last Depression and for the purpose of making sure that those businesses didn’t bring all of us down again. But, even if the regulations are the wrong thing, which they probably are not because the Dow on Wall Street just hit 13000 points again for the first time since 2008, is that enough to hate this President and would this cause hate towards any other President?
It was not Obama that intentionally deceived you and me about there being weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and it was not he that gave a tax break to the super-rich, so called job-creators, who took the extra cash and bought more things instead of creating more jobs, obviously. So then what could it be? We could talk about how the economy has created almost 3 million jobs in the last couple of years, how there is more drilling going on than ever before, how we are less dependent on foreign oil than ever before, how Osama is dead and GM, the company Romney said should have been allowed to enter Bankruptcy, is now the number one leader in car sales in the World after the stimulus money provided by Obama, but these are just policy issues that should cause no one to hate the man.
No, simply this hate began with what drives most of us these days, dinero. Others, like the Koch brothers and companies that have been used to ripping people off since the beginning of the USA, are seeing this President taking away some of their nickel and diming of the American people and even creating an office to oversee the practices of the same financial firms that caused the last Depression. The President is pushing green things and trying to direct the Nation to be the leader from dependence on Oil and also pushing hard to take away checks that Oil Companies get from us the taxpayers as incentives to drill. Really? They need to be incentivized to earns billions? The price at the pump is the oil companies’ temper tantrum against this President, hoping you blame him for it. This hate of Obama for making the field more level on the money field, is then blasted by paid advertising, radio and Fox News as Socialist, Anti-Christian, African and “Hating America” and the ancient hate you can always count on, the one that led to countless lynchings, resurfaces it’s ugly head.

Hold your vote
Before voting, lets no fall for the false promises, remember that Obama and Rommey need the latino vote more that we need them. Who ever we vote for make sure that the latino are going to get something out of it. Let get our kids educated so that they could run this country one day.

agree with most of what you say, except "gettign something out of it" i'm not sure what that would be. If one of them fights to keep tuition in college low, maybe make the first 2 years of college free to all, take care of those abuielas that have nobody, signs the Dream Act, quits jumping into unnecessary wars and focuses on the middle class, not the people that have already made it big, than that person betters the Nation and thus we benefit from that. Obama has fought for students, is ready to sign the Dream Act, abhors the Ryan Plan because it makes Soc. Sec. a "voucher" system and extended unemployment benefits and killed the payroll tax. Romney opposes Dream Act and has called Ryan Plan "marvelous" and wants tax cuts only for the top,
